ITINERARY
We will pick you up from your hotel and head to the charming town of Pisac, one of the main highlights of the Sacred Valley. There, you will explore its impressive archaeological site, famous for its terraces and breathtaking panoramic views. You will also visit the traditional artisan market, where you can admire handmade products.
After Pisac, we will continue to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch before traveling to Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo is known for its majestic Inca terraces and the remarkable Temple of the Sun, a true masterpiece of Quechua engineering. Here, you will learn about the construction techniques of the ancient Incas while taking in stunning views of the valley and the ruins.
Finally, we will make a brief stop at Chinchero, a town famous for its textile traditions and its colonial church built on Inca foundations, before returning to Cusco, where we will drop you off directly at your hotel. (Some tours omit this last part and end in Ollantaytambo.)

It requires moderate walking, especially when climbing the stairs at the ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac. However, you can go at your own pace.
Yes! It is the best option to optimize your time. The tour can end in Ollantaytambo around 3:30 p.m., from where you can take the train to Aguas Calientes without returning to Cusco. We suggest taking the 2-day Machu Picchu tour with us to properly organize where and how to leave your luggage.
