ITINERARY
Our adventure begins at the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), the ancient spiritual heart of the Incas. Here you’ll see the Inca appear alongside his royal entourage, kicking off the day with beautiful chants in Quechua and offerings of thanks to the god Inti. You’ll be amazed by the sight of the sun’s first rays illuminating the stone walls; it’s a truly magical moment.
Afterward, the magic moves to the Plaza de Armas. The streets of downtown Cusco come alive with Andean music and colorful dances. It is celebrated only on June 24 of each year. This great Festival of the Sun coincides with the Andean winter solstice, making it the most sacred and culturally significant day in Cusco.
We recommend booking your seats 3 to 5 months in advance. Keep in mind that the seats on the Sacsayhuamán esplanade are numbered, and tickets sell out extremely quickly due to high demand from travelers.
- Orange: This is the central VIP section, offering the best view of the stage. It is the most expensive section.
- Red: Located at the far ends, it offers good visibility at a mid-range price.
- Green: This is the economy section, located at the far sides.
