ITINERARY
After a comfortable trip from Cusco and enjoying a box lunch breakfast en route, we will arrive at the community of Pacchanta, the starting point of our hike.
From here, we venture into the Peruvian Andes along trails surrounded by imposing snow-capped peaks, herds of alpacas, and intensely colored lakes: turquoise, emerald, and deep blue.
Throughout the journey, we will discover seven spectacular lakes: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Orco Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha, and Patacocha. Each one offers a different shade and a unique reflection of the mountains.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Unlike Humantay (which is a single steep climb), the 7 Lakes tour is a longer hike (4-5 hours) but mostly flat, making it less strenuous for the heart. Plus, you will see multiple turquoise, green, and red lakes.
It is very cold and windy, as you will be near the glaciers. It is essential to bring thermal clothing, gloves, a wool hat, and a windbreaker jacket, even if it is sunny.
The use of hot springs is optional and subject to time availability. We recommend bringing a swimsuit if you wish to enter the Pacchanta hot springs.
